About Mark Givensel
Mark Givensel is a self taught graphic designer and web marketer. He has over ten years of experience in working with businesses and organizations here on Maui. He has worked with organizations such as the Maui Chamber of Commerce, Maui County, the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center, the Miss Maui Scholarship Program, Hawaiian Immersion and countless small businesses, consultants and entrepreneurs.
He started his career in graphic design by working at Kinko’s in Kahului. As the Assistant Manager of Technology, he met countless customers who needed personal assistance that went beyond the scope of the standard Kinko’s line of products and services. He began working for these clients on his off days and soon had enough clients to start his own part time business.
Mark prides himself in his professionalism, patience and educating the client in terms of the technology and terminology before starting any project. This helps the client to not only receive excellent service, but to learn through the process of their project development, which help’s the client and their business in the long run.

Before working in the in tech industry he worked in the hotel industry as a Senior Concierge at the former Maui Prince Hotel and at the Ritz Carlton’s Service Department on the Big Island. He credits his experience as a Concierge in making the seemingly impossible thing, very possible.
Mark also works as a Field Engineer for Toshiba's printer and copier division.
Mark is originally from Cleveland, OH and came to Hawaii nearly 20 years ago on a two week vacation; first time on a plane, first time to see the ocean and the first time outside the mid-west. He fell in love with Hawaii, it’s culture and people and did not return back to Cleveland.
He began his working career at a very young age in Cleveland, OH. When he was 8 years old, his father bought him a lawn mower and some gas and told him to go and cut the next door’s neighbors lawn and charge $15 a month. (after he cut his father’s grass). By the time Mark was 14 he was mowing over 25 lawns a week and often employed a couple of his friends when things got real busy. Since being a child, Mark has realized the value of working hard and taking pride in his work.
Mark attended Cleveland Heights High School and the Ohio State University.
